Meet Me in Towne 2026: Towne Kids Pediatric Training Comes to Astoria Plaza Manila
On June 2, 2026, Towne Kids brought its Filipino nurses together for one of the year’s most anticipated events. Meet Me In Towne 2026 opened at Astoria Plaza Manila with a pediatric clinical training session. However, that was only the beginning.

More Than a Training. A Celebration of Care.
On the screen, clinical slides covered topics that matter in pediatric home care nursing. These included fever management, febrile seizures, and nursing interventions for seizure disorders. In addition, nurses reviewed emergency medication protocols for Diazepam, Lorazepam, and Midazolam during the ictal phase.
This was not a casual seminar. This was professional, rigorous, and exactly the kind of clinical education that separates Towne Kids nurses from the rest.
The Road to 300 milestone markers framed the event. These markers have become a signature part of Towne Kids celebrations. More importantly, they reminded every nurse that they belong to something larger than a single shift or patient.

What the Pediatric Training Covered
The clinical sessions addressed some of the most critical areas of pediatric home care nursing that Towne Kids nurses encounter in New Jersey family homes.
Fever and febrile seizures were covered in detail, including how to recognize a febrile seizure, when temperatures reach a level of clinical concern at 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, why febrile seizures are more common in children aged six months to five years, and why most episodes are brief and self-limiting.
Nursing interventions for seizure disorders were presented with clinical precision. The training covered emergency medication administration during the ictal phase, comparing the onset times and routes of Diazepam, Lorazepam, and Midazolam so nurses understand not just what to give but why each option is used in specific clinical situations.
Simple focal seizures were also discussed, giving nurses a clearer picture of how to recognize and respond to seizure activity that may present differently from the generalized tonic-clonic episodes most people are familiar with.
This is the kind of specialized clinical knowledge that makes a Towne Kids nurse a confident, prepared caregiver in the homes of New Jersey families who depend on them.
Surprises Throughout the Day
The pediatric training was only the opening act. The Meet Me In Towne 2026 program promised more surprises throughout the event as Towne Kids brought nurses together not just to learn but to celebrate the passion that drives quality patient care.
The combination of rigorous clinical education and genuine community celebration is at the heart of what makes Towne Kids different. This is a company that invests in its nurses professionally and personally, in the classroom and beyond it.
With Towne Kids, Every Step of the Way
For Filipino nurses still on their journey toward deployment, events like Meet Me In Towne 2026 are a glimpse of what awaits on the other side of the NCLEX and the visa process. Not just a job in a foreign country, but a community, a support system, and a company that shows up for you in rooms like the one at Astoria Plaza on June 2.
With Towne Kids, we are here for you every step of the way.
