Nurses Week 2026: Towne Kids Celebrates the Heart Behind Every Filipino USRN
Every year, Nurses Week gives us a moment to pause and truly honor the people who show up every single day to care for those who need it most. This year, Towne Kids celebrated Nurses Week 2026 with something very close to our hearts: a Nurses Week Appreciation Party for our Kind Care Nurses. These are the Filipino USRNs who are not only changing lives in New Jersey but also building their own American dreams one shift at a time.
More Than a Profession, A Calling
Nursing has always been more than a career for Filipino nurses. It is a calling shaped by compassion, sacrifice, and commitment to the people in their care.
Our Kind Care Nurses work in pediatric home care, a setting that is deeply personal and deeply human. Every day, they provide comfort and quality care to children and families who need it most. They do this not in a hospital ward, but inside family homes where trust, consistency, and genuine warmth matter just as much as clinical skill.
And they do all of this while courageously building a life and career in the United States, far from their own families, navigating a new country with courage and determination.
This Nurses Week, we celebrate not only the care they provide but also the strength and perseverance behind every single journey.

Nurses Week Appreciation Party 2026: A Moment to Celebrate Together
On May 7, 2026, Towne Kids gathered its nurses for a special Nurses Week Appreciation Party, a moment to step back from the demands of caregiving and simply be celebrated.
The event brought together Filipino USRNs who have become the backbone of Towne Kids’ pediatric home care program in New Jersey. There was laughter, connection, and a shared pride in how far each nurse has come, from passing the NCLEX in the Philippines to building a meaningful nursing career in the USA.
For many of our nurses, moments like these serve as a reminder that they did not make this journey alone. Towne Kids walks every step with them, from application and NCLEX guidance to deployment, training, and beyond.
Kind Care Nurses: The People Behind the Mission
What makes a Towne Kids nurse different? It is not just clinical competence, although our nurses have that in abundance. It is the kind of care that cannot be measured in a checklist.
Our Kind Care Nurses build lasting bonds with the children and families they serve. They become trusted presences in family homes. They show up consistently, compassionately, and courageously, even when the work is hard and home feels far away.
Their path may be challenging. But their determination has always been stronger.
Road to 300: Growing Stronger Together
Towne Kids is on its #RoadTo300, a milestone that reflects not just company growth but the growing community of Filipino nurses who have chosen to build their careers and lives with us in the United States.
As of April 2026, over 247 Filipino nurses have been successfully deployed through Towne Kids. Each number represents a story. A PHRN who passed the NCLEX, signed a contract, said goodbye to family, and stepped into a new life in New Jersey.
We are proud of every single one of them. And we are just getting started.
