Towne Kids Rides for The Special Children’s Center: Making Every Mile Matter
On June 29, 2026, Team Towne Kids took to the road in a different way than usual. Instead of the familiar route from the Philippines to New Jersey, this ride covered miles in support of something close to the heart of every nurse and every family that Towne Kids serves. Team Towne Kids proudly participated in The Special Children’s Center Bike Ride Fundraiser.
Every mile counts. Every child matters.

Supporting Children with Special Needs
The Special Children’s Center is dedicated to creating opportunities for children with special needs to experience the joy of summer camp and community. For children whose daily lives already require extraordinary effort, the chance to simply be part of something joyful and social is not a small thing. It is everything.
Towne Kids is honored to support this meaningful fundraiser. Furthermore, the connection between this cause and the work Towne Kids nurses do every day in pediatric home care across New Jersey is not coincidental. It is a reflection of who Towne Kids is as a company and as a community.

More Than a Race. A Statement of Values.
Team Towne Kids showed up in full force. In yellow jerseys, with bikes ready and purpose clear, the team joined riders from across the region to pedal in support of children who deserve every opportunity to thrive.
Because at its core, this is what Towne Kids stands for. Not just deploying nurses to the United States, but building a culture of genuine compassion for the children and families those nurses serve. The same care that drives a Towne Kids nurse through a long shift in a New Jersey home is the same care that drove every team member through every mile of this ride.
In addition to the physical effort of the ride itself, participation in events like this sends a message to the broader community, to families, to partner organizations, and to Filipino nurses still considering their path forward. Towne Kids does not just talk about caring for children. They show up for it.
Road to 400
Towne Kids has now set its sights on the next milestone. With over 300 Filipino nurses already deployed to the United States, the Road to 400 has officially begun. Moreover, events like the Special Children’s Center Bike Ride are a reminder of why that number matters beyond the count itself. Each nurse represents a family whose child receives consistent, compassionate care. Each deployment is another commitment kept.
As that number grows toward 400, the foundation being built is not just a recruitment record. It is a legacy of care that extends from the Philippines to New Jersey and, on days like June 29, out onto the open road.
