Towne Kids at the OET Fair 2026: Connecting Filipino Nurses to Opportunity
On June 25, 2026, Towne Kids was proud to be part of something meaningful. As a partner of OET, Towne Kids joined the OET Fair: An Info Session, a gathering designed to bring aspiring healthcare professionals, nursing students, and future USRNs together for a full day of learning and opportunity.

Bridging the Gap Between Preparation and Success
The OET Fair brought together nurses at different stages of their journey. Some were still in school. Others had already passed their NCLEX and were actively preparing their English proficiency test. Still others were researching which path forward made the most sense for their international career goals.
Furthermore, what connected every person in that room was a shared direction. They are working toward something bigger than their current situation. They are building toward a career in the United States, a calling that requires preparation, the right resources, and the right people around them.
Events like the OET Fair exist precisely to close that gap. In addition to the information shared across the sessions, these events connect nurses with trusted partners and valuable resources that are otherwise difficult to find in one place at one time.

Towne Kids Was There
At the Towne Kids booth, aspiring nurses had the chance to learn directly about what direct hire employment actually means, how the EB-3 visa process works, and what sets Towne Kids apart from traditional recruitment agencies. The energy in the room was clear. These are nurses who are serious, who are preparing, and who are not waiting for their future to find them.
Moreover, the Towne Kids team was equally energized. Seeing future USRNs up close, holding their OET materials, asking real questions about the journey ahead, is a reminder of why the Road to 400 is more than a number. It is a community of nurses who made a decision, just like the nurses in that room are about to make.
Why OET Matters for Filipino Nurses Pursuing USRN Careers
The Occupational English Test is one of the accepted English proficiency assessments for Filipino nurses applying for licensure in the United States. Passing an accepted English test is a required step in the CGFNS Visa Screen process, which is part of the EB-3 deployment pathway every Towne Kids nurse goes through.
Because of this, Towne Kids’ partnership with OET is not just a branding relationship. It is a practical one. Nurses who start preparing their OET early are nurses who move through the deployment process more smoothly. Connecting with them at events like this, while they are still in preparation mode, is how Towne Kids stays present at every stage of a nurse’s journey, not just the final one.
Thank You to Everyone Who Joined
To every nurse who stopped by the Towne Kids booth, picked up materials, asked a question, or simply showed up to invest in their own future, thank you. Your presence at an event like this is a signal. It tells us that you are ready, or getting ready, and that is exactly the kind of nurse the Road to 400 is built for.
Towne Kids looks forward to supporting more nurses on their journey to the American Dream. Because our Road to 400 continues, and the next nurse to achieve their dream with Towne Kids could be someone who was in that room on June 25.
